Early Childhood (Preschool) Program

Our Goal for our Early Childhood Program is: "To promote the joy of learning through first-hand experiences in a warm, accepting and stimulating environment."

Location: The Preschool is located next to the kindergarten classrooms in the Early Childhood Wing on the south side of the building.

Staff: Our student/teacher ratio is 10:1. We have a lead teacher and an assistant with 20 students. The Preschool Teacher is Stacey Anderson, and the Teacher's Assistant is Jennifer Jaenish.

Entrance Requirements:

  1. Children must be 4 before September 1st of the school year to enter the 4 Year Old Program
  2. Children must be toilet trained
  3. Children must meet immunizations criteria

Class Meets Monday-Thursday 8:45-11:25
Cost per month is dependant on income level.

Applications for 2008-2009 will be available December 1, 2008 in the Parkview Elementary Office and are due no later than February 20, 2009. Applications will be date and time stamped. Spaces will be filled by children living within Parkview Elementary boundaries first. Order of preference is on the registration sheet. Handing in an application does not guarantee a spot in the program, nor does it commit you to it. Notification letters will be sent out after March 15, 2009. Non refundable $75 deposits are not due until you are notified that a space is available for your child.

Acceptance will follow district guidelines for school choice:

  1. Students within the Parkview Elementary boundaries
  2. Siblings at school
  3. Parent/Guardian is an Employee of the District
  4. In-District Students
  5. Out of District Students
