About Me

I am passionate about teaching and love working with children. Everyday, is new and exciting, when working with children. My two favorite hobbies are yoga, and traveling. Something interesting about me is I taught 3rd grade in South Korea for two years and had the chance to travel to several asian countries, while teaching abroad. I have been teaching since 2008, and can’t imagine doing anything else. I received  my Bachelors in Education from Weber State University and my Masters in Educational Leadership from Southern Utah University in 2016.

One of my favorite children’s books is, Thank You Mr. Falker, by Patricia Polacco. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because it is a time for family, friends, food, gratitude and service. One of my favorite quotes is, “Do one thing everyday that scares you,” by Eleanor Roosevelt. This quote motivates me challenge myself and try new things. My favorite type of food is small plates, like cheese, bread, olives, beets, fish tacos and tomatoes.
