Principal's Message

Dear Parkview Families,

Fall is here full of color! We are excited to welcome you all to our first round of Parent Teacher Conferences for the year!

New Staff
Each year brings positive change, including additions to our staff. Please welcome our new staff assistant Ms. Sindy Poduri. Ms. Poduri will support our upper grades.

Facilities Update

Last week the installation of Solar Panels started at Parkview. Please find helpful information regarding this exciting project below:

Parkview Fast Facts

  • A total of 525 solar panels on the roof of Parkview.
  • Total system size: 286.1 kW DC
  • 2 inverters: 2x 120 kW inverters to change the module output from DC to AC power and sync with the building.
  • McKinstry's guarantee on the Parkview array is that it will produce 408,622 kWh of electricity per year.
  • This offsets approximately 106% of Parkview’s annual electricity use. WOW!
  • This will result in annual savings of approximately $36,326 based on 2025 electricity rates.
  • Expected to reduce CO2eq emissions by 252 tons annually, which is about 43% of Parkview’s baseline emissions in the Sustainability Action Plan (SAP).
  • With this array, Parkview will have accomplished an overall reduction of 82% from the SAP Baseline CO2eq footprint.
